9月30日（月）、MECの生徒さんから日本の茶道を体験してみたいとのお声をいただき、放課後に茶道体験教室を開きました。

まず、部員のお点前を見学、その後部員の手ほどきを受けながら1人ずつお茶を点ててもらいました。綺麗に泡が立った、美味しそうなお茶ができました。

それから、浴衣を着て記念写真を撮りました。

部員たちは茶道の歴史や作法の説明を、頑張って英語で行いました。

日本での思い出の1ページになってくれたら、嬉しいです。

Tea Ceremony Experience Class On Monday, September 30th, we received a request from MEC students who wanted to experience a Japanese tea ceremony, so we held a tea ceremony experience class after school.
First, the MECstudents observed a tea ceremony performed by the OBF club members.
Then, with guidance from the club members, each student made their own tea.
The tea turned out beautifully frothy and looked delicious. Afterward, the students wore yukatas and took commemorative photos.
The club members worked hard to explain the history and etiquette of the tea ceremony in English.
We would be delighted if this became a memorable page in their time in Japan.
